plant medicine Preparation & Integration
If you aren’t prepared for your plant medicine ceremony, then you may waste a bunch of money and time by missing out on the full transformative benefits, or, even worse, you may further traumatize or disorient yourself from an empowering path in your life.
These spaces of deep spiritual and shamanic healing work are not to be taken lightly. In their original traditional contexts, these medicines were not freely available to everyone like today—they were the province of shamans and tribes which were initiated into their ways thousands of years ago.
Today, we in the West have the blessed opportunity to participate directly with the medicines. Our cultural and historic moment is fraught with some of the most complex traumatic conditioning that the world has ever seen, and these medicines and the indigenous wisdom keepers have arrived to help us heal and understand who we are so that we may help ourselves and the world.
If you are considering your first plant medicine ceremony—or you have struggled before in these spaces—then you may indeed do well to work with a coach like me.
My Experience on the Path
I have seven years of deep experience with Ayahuasca. I have sat for about 30 ceremonies, and I worked for one year as a facilitator at Pachamama Sanctuary in Casco, Maine—the #1 most popular legal retreat in the U.S..
I have almost two decades of experience on the spiritual path as a diligent student of Buddhism and other Eastern mystical paths. After a spiritual initiation with the mushroom at age 18, I immediately became devoted to the path of yoga—the path of union between the self and spirit.
Since then, integrated other healing & spiritual modalities such as reiki, yoga, qigong, and mindfulness and flow-based practices of trauma release. I also trained to administer Kambo, the powerful healing frog medicine from the Amazon, which supports the path of Ayahuasca.
On this journey, I have earned my M.A. in Peace & Reconciliation under the tutelage of both a foremost scholar of Gandhian Non-violence, and a former Zen Abbott; practiced in monasteries and ashrams around the U.S. and in Thailand, India, and Nepal; healed with Ayahuasca and Kambo in several different countries—Peru, Mexico, Thailand, Poland, the Netherlands, and the U.S.; and was trained in energy healing by a Nepali energy master.
The path of healing & awakening is my core life path, and Ayahuasca and the other master plant medicines of the world remain my most powerful teachers and guides to this day. I am in their service, indeed, indebted to them for all that they have given me.
It is my pleasure to help you prepare well for your plant medicine ceremony.
